Introduction

To achieve the desired goals of your visit to our country, whether for tourism or to learn about our culture and values, or to accomplish some business, obtaining health insurance that you
trust and that guarantees you insurance coverage for medical emergency and accidents, will save you time, effort and money, in case the necessity arises.

How To Obtain Visitor's Health Insurance?

To avoid paying for your healthcare services in emergency or accident, all visitors to the State of Qatar are
advised to obtain a Health Insurance Policy that covers Emergency and Accident healthcare services before
entering the Country.

However, if you plan to extend your stay in the country for additional (30) days, you must buy a health insurance policy.
You can purchase the Health Insurance Policy from any of the Insurance Companies Registered with or Approved by the Ministry of Public Health click here.

Upon completion of the purchase of the Policy, you can apply on the website of the Ministry of Interior or through “Metrash" App to obtain/extend your Visit visa.
