Health Insurance Registration Section

The Health Insurance Registration Section is responsible for the following:
  1. Development of criteria, conditions and requirements for registration and renewal of 
  2. registration of health insurance companies, claims management companies, health insurance brokers and agents in addition to health service providers in the health insurance system.
  3. Development and implementation of necessary administrative procedures for registration and continuous update of records of the parties to the insurance relationship. 
  4. Receiving and deciding on applications for registration of the parties to the insurance relationship based on the criteria and conditions of registration and the administrative procedures set out
  5. Implementation of grievance committee decisions 
  6. Coordinate with the Insurance Control Section to ensure compliance of all parties to the insurance relationship with standards and conditions set by the department and to report any deviations or violations to the competent authorities for necessary disciplinary actions in accordance with the laws and implementing regulations
