Insurance Operation Section

The Insurance Operations Section is responsible for the following:
  1. Development and execution of plans, policies and procedures necessary for the suitable implementation of the health insurance and ensure compliance with the relevant laws and implementation regulations
  2. Ensure progress of planned departmental works in accordance with the approved plans and with the monitoring and evaluation mechanisms
  3. Development of rules and procedures for issuing circulars, guidelines and decisions related to the health insurance system.
  4. Development of rules and procedures of department standard operating procedures and drawing up plans for the development of organizational governance and electronic applications necessary for the operation of the health insurance system in coordination with the concerned administrative departments.
  5. Developing and applying departmental management performance indicators for efficient operations in coordination with the concerned administrative units.
  6. Develop principles and guidelines for risk identification and management facing the health insurance system. 
  7. Coordination of grievance committee work relevant to health insurance, and act as a link between the committee, related administrative units and various other parties to facilitate the implementation of its decision.
